American Civil War Association
- The American Civil War Association is a private, non-profit,
educational organization that uses living history as a means of helping the public
gain a better understanding of the American Civil War. The re-enactors don authentically
reproduced clothing and uniforms, shoulder period muskets, cook over open fires,
sleep in canvas tents, participate in battle reenactments and civilian life, and
some even speak in the dialect of the era -- all in the name of living history. |
